Collaborative, Personalized, and Grounded in Evidence.
My work focuses on helping clients better understand themselves, regulate emotions, and develop skills that support long-term emotional wellbeing. Therapy offers a dedicated, confidential space to explore challenges, build coping skills, and develop deeper self-understanding.
Areas of Focus
Anxiety & Chronic Stress
Anxiety often shows up as constant worry, tension, overwhelm, or difficulty relaxing. Therapy focuses on understanding how stress impacts your nervous system, learning emotional regulation and grounding skills, and reducing patterns that keep anxiety feeling unmanageable.
Emotional Regulation & Nervous System Support
Many people were never taught how to regulate emotions effectively. Therapy focuses on building awareness of emotional patterns, learning skills to respond rather than react, and helping the nervous system return to balance.
Trauma-Informed Therapy
Trauma can affect emotional regulation, relationships, and your sense of safety—even long after the experience has passed. My approach emphasizes stabilization, nervous system regulation, and pacing. You remain in control of the process, and therapy moves at a rate that feels safe and supportive.
Women’s Mental Health
I provide specialized, women’s mental health–informed therapy to address unique emotional, relational, and identity-related challenges across different life stages. This includes support for burnout, boundary-setting, role transitions, and self-worth concerns.
Life Transitions & Adjustment
Major life changes—whether planned or unexpected—can disrupt stability and increase anxiety. Therapy provides support, clarity, and coping strategies to navigate transitions, grief, or identity changes with greater resilience.
Co-Occurring Mental Health & Substance Use
As a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC), I offer integrated, nonjudgmental support for individuals experiencing co-occurring mental health and substance-related concerns. Care is individualized and may include harm-reduction or recovery-oriented approaches, depending on your goals.
My Therapeutic Approach
My approach to therapy is trauma-informed, collaborative, and skills-based. I draw from multiple evidence-based modalities, including:
● Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT): For emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness.
● Mindfulness-Based Therapy: To increase awareness and grounding.
● Psychodynamic Therapy: To explore patterns shaped by past experiences.
● Strengths-Based Approaches: To build resilience and self-trust.
I place particular emphasis on understanding how anxiety, trauma, and chronic stress impact the nervous system, and how therapy can support regulation, emotional balance, and improved functioning.
